PrimaSELECT PLA Satin is available in a wide range of silky colours. The filament is made of modified PLA material and is much stronger than ordinary PLA material. This is due to the added additives, which have been mixed with the best raw materials.

The filament is non-toxic and free from unpleasant odours during processing. 3D prints with Silk PLA impressive noble looking objects & artworks, which are covered with a silky touch.

Super 3D prints with top layer adhesion

Achieve super 3D printing results easily and reliably with extremely strong adhesion between the individual layers. Polylactic acid (PLA) is a biodegradable polymer.

Use PLA Satin filament on all your 3D printers

Process PrimaSELECT PLA Satin filament on all your 3D printers, including those with Bowden material feed/extruders. If you have a dual extruder 3D printer and want to 3D print with support material, we recommend using PrimaSELECT PVA. This support material bonds well with PLA Satin and is easy to remove. Simply place it in a water bath. The PVA will then dissolve.

Optimal adhesion & winding

PrimaSELECT PLA adheres to BuildTak or glass plates coated with adhesive spray or glue stick. Filament from Prima Filaments comes on a transparent spool. Just check how much filament is left on the spool and see if you need to change the roll.
