Description
Polyether Ketone Ketone (PEKK) is a semi-crystaline thermoplastic. It belongs to the Polyaryletherketone family. With high heat & chemical resistance and its ability to withstand high mechanical loads it is perfect for manufacturing of demanding end use parts. Furthermore, it is inherent flame retardant and has unique tribological properties.
Material properties PrimaSELECT™ Luvocom 3F 50082 PEKK:- Specially optimized for industrial 3D printing
- Isotropic shrinkage characteristics
- Nonflammable (UL94 V-0)
- Continuous service temperature 255°C
- Service temperature 300°C (during lifetime max. 200h)
- Highly chemically resistant
- Low warping PEKK filament
PEKK filament has an adjustable crystallization rate that allows users of FFF or FDM 3D printers to take advantage of both the extreme performance of PEEK and the easier processing of amorphous materials. PEKK filament is easier to process than traditional PEEK filament and has a better layer adhesion. At the same time, it offers similar strength and resistance material properties and better dimensional stability. PEKK has a higher glass transition temperature than PEEK of 15ᵒC.
LUVOCOM® 3F PEKK 50082 material properties:- Density 1.27 g/cm³
- Tensile Strength 90 MPa
- Elongation at maximum force 5%
- Modulus of elasticity 3 GPa
- Flexural strength 150 MPa
- Flexural elongation at max. force 6%
- Flexural modulus 2,5 GPa
LUVOCOM® 3F PEKK 50082 is designed to outperform standard PEKK materials on the market. It has improved flow characteristics that enhance processing and layer adhesion. This unique modified pure PEKK offers dimensional stability and can be processed in non-heated build chambers, resulting in semi-crystalline parts with little warping.
