PrimaSELECT PP was developed with a high optical transparency. The clarity does not affect the mechanical properties. PrimaSELECT PP has a very good layer adhesion. This PP produces a very smooth surface during 3D printing. PrimaSELECT PP is ideal for 3D printing hinges or straps. Process this high-performance material as filament on your 3D printer.

PrimaSELECT PP is one of the materials when it comes to prototyping and end-user products. Polypropylene is one of the most widely used plastics in the world. Thereby PP convinces by its high toughness and fatigue strength. PrimaSELECT PP has a good heat resistance up to over 100 ° C. Furthermore, the material is also resistant to most chemicals and acids, including strong industrial cleaning agents. Prima SELECT PP has a high electrical resistance. PP is insensitive to moisture. Due to the material's low density, the finished 3D prints are very light.

Another argument in favor of PrimaSELECT PP is that the material is dishwasher and microwave safe. This opens up the use in a wide range of applications for this exciting material. PrimaSELECT PP is also fully FDA-approved and complies with EU Regulation No. 1935/2004 on materials. This regulates materials that come into contact with food.

PrimaSELECT PP does not adhere well to normal surfaces such as BuildTak, glass or PEI coatings. The best way to make PrimaSELECT PP adhere well is to use normal packaging tape or polypropylene film. A heated build platform is also required. We recommend you use a 3D printer with a closed build space. If you are making smaller models additively, you can also do this on your open 3D printer.

You can process PrimaSELECT PP with a conventional nozzle. No special nozzle is required.
